“Opportunity Dances with Those Already On the Dance Floor”

This quote reminds us what the creative process requires...

But all too often, when we set out to do something creative, the initial efforts can be a bit frustrating. We have so many ideas and so many competing priorities that getting started is almost scary. It can feel like we are wandering aimlessly, trying to find our way.

But all the pros say after a bit of effort, clarity arrives; the point when the dots start to connect and the vision of your goal becomes more defined and attainable.

Opportunity is created. It’s not typically stumbled upon. Be brave, seek it out, start dancing and look toward your point of no return. To build your motivation, check out the evidence in this 5-minute video: "How to practice effectively...for just about anything" by Annie Bosler and Don Greene.

It is easy to get discouraged by the creative process, but the momentum that is gained from your hard work will often turn your journey into an exciting adventure. If you find that building momentum is consistently difficult, it may be time to partner with a coach or therapist that can help you improve your process for building power that grows potential.
