Edith Castro Diaz

Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee

Supervised by Tiffany Naumann, Psy.D # 51595

I believe therapy creates a meaningful opportunity to shape well-being habits for a holistic mindfulness practice. My approach to self reflection is whole-person focused, and I guide from compassion, curiosity, and a desire to develop confidence in your own ability to move from a healthy mindset.  Healing is a collaborative and generative process of self-discovery and internal organization.

As your therapist, I will offer support and collectively create meaningful ways to express yourself, achieve better emotional regulation, and realize your strengths and potential. I recognize the importance of guiding your unique journey with empathy, moving at the speed that fits you. Self-discovery will expand your strengths and cultivate confident solutions, coping strategies, and a sense of wellness.

I am passionate and dedicated to helping my clients understand themselves, their strengths, and their potential. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and happy to support individuals, groups, youth, and adults that struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, adjusting, and life transitions. I chose to practice at growURpotential because we can all heal on purpose.

Edith is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program for Clinical Psychology to become Marriage & Family Therapist with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. The services provided by Edith are supervised by Our Clinical Team.

We are a nonprofit community counseling agency, committed to expanding access to supportive services. With compassion, collaboration, and respect we provide affordable mental health care including programs that strengthen adults, youth, families, and communities.

We believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. By providing affordable mental health services and effective community programs we increase access and utilization of supportive services that contribute to improved adult, youth, and family functioning. We are certain this will lead to fortified communities in Los Angeles.

We are sincerely grateful to Our Board Members for their support and invaluable guidance.
